Light of Christ Ministries is founded on the belief that Jesus gave us a new commandment, which is that we should love each other as He has loved us so that the world would know that we are His disciples.

We are a chosen generation that believe in the fruit of the spirit, and seek to demonstrate our faith through the work of God's Spirit within us, and let the people of the world see our good works and glorify our God in heaven.

OUR MISSION & PURPOSE

Our Mission

Our mission at Light of Christ is to demonstrate that which God has commanded us which is to love Him and others and to magnify the name of His son, Jesus Christ.

“See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it” (Deut. 12:32.). Without any addition, the great commission remains the instruction of Jesus Christ to spread the gospel to all the nations of the world.

Light of Christ Ministries exist to extend that which Jesus started which is based on love. We are here to encourage people, pray for people, mentor people, and lead people to Christ. He has the divine ability to bear your burdens and give you the daily strength you need.

Our Purpose

As a non-profit organization, we aim to build the Kingdom of God by reaching out to the world with the Love of God, bringing the people into a deeper relationship with God through the intimacy of prayer, mentorship, teachings of the word of God; and encouraging and helping them grow in their walk with Him.

We believe in the power of Love, the gift of the Holy Spirit, and the great commandment and commission. We consider that our greatest gain in this world is the leading of people to their creator and fulfilling that which He has sent us to do. For we know the day of His coming is near, the clock is ticking, and very little time is left.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The One True God

We believe there is one God eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is a gift of God that can only be received through believing in and following Jesus Christ, the only son of God who sacrificed Himself for our sins.

The Scriptures

We believe the Bible is the eternal and infallible Word of God given to us by God, to communicate and reveal to us the truth about Himself and His relationship with His creation.

The Church

We believe in the oneness of Christ, and the togetherness of His congregation. We believe that "the Body of Christ” collectively describes believers in Christ who are born again through faith in Christ’s sacrifice and are a part of His Church. We believe in the congregation of the believers as it is written in the bible, in Hebrews 10:25

Man & Sin

We believe in a state of sin in which humanity has existed since the fall of man, stemming from the Adam and Eve disobedience in the eating of the forbidden fruit, breaking man's perfect relationship with God. We believe that God in His mercy has built a bridge for us which is Jesus Christ and with Him, we can overcome the power of sin and enjoy a wholesome relationship with the Father.

Future Events

We believe in the judgment day and the second coming of Jesus Christ. We believe in the second life and second death. We believe in the physical resurrection of all people; and that all works shall be brought to account on the judgment day.
